Dr. Mateusz Tomanek from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń took part in the Zarządzanie w Sporcie conference organised by the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

His presentation focused on the “LAENOG project” – “Latin American European Network in Social Support for Online Gaming” – which works to make online gaming safer and more positive for young people. The project supports young players, parents, and educators by developing educational tools, sharing knowledge, and raising awareness about toxic behaviour in gaming.

LAENOG shows that gaming is not only entertainment — it is also a space where education, teamwork, digital skills, and responsibility really matter.
