Between 11–13 May 2026, the @LAENOG consortium gathered in the historic city of Toledo, Spain, for an intensive Transnational Meeting focused on the next phase of the project: developing innovative educational tools to tackle toxic behaviours in online gaming.
Over three days, Universidade de Lisboa Team (Instituto Superior Técnico and FMH) and partners from Europe (Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu and Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha) and Latin America (Brazil- UFRJ – Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, and Panamá Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá and @UDELAS worked collaboratively on:
✅ The launch and structure of the upcoming LAENOG MOOCs for young gamers, parents, and educators
✅ AI-supported multilingual audiovisual production and subtitling workflows
✅ The development of the Moodle e-learning platform and H5P interactive activities
✅ Dissemination strategies and impact monitoring
✅ Coordination of the next deliverables and milestones across all Work Packages
One of the most inspiring moments was seeing how research findings from nearly 1,000 survey responses are now being transformed into practical learning modules designed to promote healthier, safer, and more inclusive gaming environments.

We are also excited to announce that the next LAENOG Transnational Meeting is planned for 2027 in Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷 (UERJ and COPPEAD UFRJ) — another important milestone for strengthening cooperation between Europe and Latin America through education, research, and digital innovation.
